Our Nautical Apprenticeship Program is the perfect next step for freshly certified skippers looking to gain real-world experience, confidence, and miles. This program allows you to develop practical skills by shadowing our sailing schools and following the guidance of an experienced mentor instructor remotely. You’ll be at the helm, handling the vessel with your crew, honing your decision-making and navigational skills in real time.

• Flexible Learning: The mentorship is tailored to your needs, helping you tackle specific challenges and build a deeper understanding of sailing mechanics, boat handling, and crew management.

• Mile Building: This program is an excellent way to clock valuable miles, often required for higher certifications or commercial licenses. By the end of the course, you'll have logged substantial miles and gained practical knowledge of various sea conditions.

• Confidence Boost: Operating under the guidance of a mentor, you’ll get comfortable handling complex manoeuvres, anchoring, mooring, and navigation, giving you the confidence needed for independent sailing.
  
   

Program Structure and Pricing
 

• Customizable Experience: Choose the yacht that best suits your goals. This will allow you to train on a vessel similar to the ones you’ll use in your future sailing endeavours.

• Mentorship Costs: The NAP fee is USD 110 per day or USD 770 per week. This investment gives you access to expert feedback and advice, helping you make the most of each mile you sail.

• Discounts for Returning Students: Previous BlueLife Sailing School graduates receive a 10% discount.

• Provisioning Assistance: While provisions aren’t included in the course price, we’re happy to help arrange them to make your experience as smooth as possible.
